The above comment was written, by the way, after I'd merely set this blog up, but hadn't yet posted any content. I'm leaving it there because I don't want to be perceived as removing or discounting any feedback.
Do you not worry that no publisher is going to pay for something that has been made available free on the internet?
Nope! In the first place, this is not a final draft, but a rough one I'm sharing primarily in the hopes of getting feedback (so any comments you may like to post would be appreciated!). What's more, it was the audience David Wellington drew by posting Monster Island online that landed him a multi-book deal. If I should happen to break out that way, so much the better, but I'm not counting on it; I just really don't think this will hurt me.
